A beautiful fall day!

A few weeks ago, before all the wind and the chill, I, with my lovely assistant Jenn, found our way to the home of Lisa and Jason, where we got to photograph such a lovely little lady and cute little man for a few hours. We had such a fun time, even amidst all the neighbours coming around to see what the fuss was! And Olivia and Ewan were such good sports. Thank you for the wonderful time!

Such a sunny girl...

Corey was such a doll to photograph. She was not shy, just playful and happy, and she loved the camera! Her little brother didn't mind being played with either. I love how the flowers really showoff Corey's beautiful hair.

What Sweethearts!

Here are two more special kids. This brother and sister steal the show every time I point my camera at them. They love being photographed, and boy can you tell! I have been taking their photographs since they were born, and they are so used to me, they wonder what's going on when I don't have a camera in their face!

And then there were 5!

I had a wonderful time playing with one of my favorite families yesterday. They had just added their latest addition to the family, Brett Walter, two days earlier. I remember, what feels like only a blink ago, doing their family photos with then newborn Johnny (look at that great surfer hair!) These kids are such a joy to photograph; always happy, smiling and trying to get my attention. I am so blessed to have them in my life!

Jorja came over for a visit and quick session. She is so full of energy, she must keep her mom hopping! And she was far too busy to stop for some pictures, which made it so much fun. Grabbing images while they are being themselves is such a pleasure. And look at those amazing eyes!

My first entry...

Hey hey, and hello! Yes, I am new to this world of 'blogging'. I see the advantages of having a space where I can share a little about what I have been up to, and where you can bring your friends to see new images and sessions. All in all, I think this web journal is a great way to involve you in my life.

So to start this journal, I wanted to share a little bit about the session I had yesterday. Crystal brought over her three gorgeous kids to do some much needed baby photos of the youngest, Tristan. I have worked with Crystal for both her daughter's 6 month baby pictures, and now that Tristan is 7 months, we thought we had better bring him in. The girls were lovely; full of energy and excitement and interested in everything new around them...it was a challenge just getting them to stay put for a few shots. Of course Tristan was much easier (slower...) and we had a great time capturing his little baby self.
