Announcing Katjana

Thank you for the joy of being apart of the miracle of life, Stacy and Phil. It is always so much fun taking your family photos, watching Garrett grow up, and now I get to enjoy Katjana as well! She is such a precious child, and her big brother loves her so much. It will be very exciting to watch them grow up together.

Some Real Cuties!

These two brothers were so cute! We played in the studio for a while, and then we got to hang out upstairs and just have fun. Looking at the pictures makes me smile remembering how the session went; Coaxing smiles from Ryan, Nathanial playing with the swiffer and Grandma there to help manage the chaos! It is in watching the kids that I am inspired. They are so full of life. Thank you for letting me be a part of your families fun, Meghan.

Chilly Afternoon...

You would never know it by looking at the photos, but this was a very chilly afternoon session with the Brandt and Boukes families. We were all bundled up and my lovely assistant, Malayne, was ready to take everyone's jackets away for the photos once we were set. This was my second time working with Ilona and Bob and their family; the last time was 3 years ago, and boy have the kids changed, especially Adam. Thanks for hanging in there with me through the cold!

It's been a long time!

Well, it certainly has been a long time since I posted. Our family was hit by a serious family emergency that halted all work for a few weeks, and once things were getting back on track and I was able to work again, well lets just say that updating has not been priority. Thank you to all my clients and friends who have been so patient during this hard time. Here are some images I have recently done for the Creative Design course that I am taking. Enjoy.

My favorite models...

So here I am visiting my sweet nieces in New York. It is so much fun being able to spend time with them, play with them and just see them grow. Maddy is two and a bit and the most precocious, talkative little girl. And Sophie is the ever happy, bubbly bouncy baby, always smiling and making us smile. She is crawling like crazy and now she pulls herself up to stand all the time too. It is just a matter of time...watch out!

A beautiful fall day!

A few weeks ago, before all the wind and the chill, I, with my lovely assistant Jenn, found our way to the home of Lisa and Jason, where we got to photograph such a lovely little lady and cute little man for a few hours. We had such a fun time, even amidst all the neighbours coming around to see what the fuss was! And Olivia and Ewan were such good sports. Thank you for the wonderful time!

Such a sunny girl...

Corey was such a doll to photograph. She was not shy, just playful and happy, and she loved the camera! Her little brother didn't mind being played with either. I love how the flowers really showoff Corey's beautiful hair.

What Sweethearts!

Here are two more special kids. This brother and sister steal the show every time I point my camera at them. They love being photographed, and boy can you tell! I have been taking their photographs since they were born, and they are so used to me, they wonder what's going on when I don't have a camera in their face!

And then there were 5!

I had a wonderful time playing with one of my favorite families yesterday. They had just added their latest addition to the family, Brett Walter, two days earlier. I remember, what feels like only a blink ago, doing their family photos with then newborn Johnny (look at that great surfer hair!) These kids are such a joy to photograph; always happy, smiling and trying to get my attention. I am so blessed to have them in my life!

Jorja came over for a visit and quick session. She is so full of energy, she must keep her mom hopping! And she was far too busy to stop for some pictures, which made it so much fun. Grabbing images while they are being themselves is such a pleasure. And look at those amazing eyes!
